Montra Electric, part of the Murugappa Group, launched the SUPER CARGO electric three-wheeler in Bengaluru on June 11, 2025. This launch strengthens its clean mobility portfolio and focuses sharply on the last-mile cargo delivery segment.
The SUPER CARGO runs on a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. It delivers 70 Nm torque, produces 11 kW peak power, and climbs slopes with 23% gradeability. The vehicle promises a certified range of 200+ km, while in real conditions, it runs up to 170 km on a single charge. The gross vehicle weight, rated at 1.2 tons, supports demanding cargo operations.
The battery comes with a 5-year or 1.75 lakh km warranty, easing ownership concerns. Its boron steel chassis improves strength and safety, while the longest wheelbase in its category enhances stability.
The vehicle includes front disc brakes, a hill-hold function, reverse assist, and seat belt provisions. It offers multiple drive modes and regenerative braking to improve energy efficiency and driving control.

At the launch event, Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director, TI Clean Mobility, shared the strategic intent:
"The addition of the Montra Electric SUPER CARGO to our product portfolio marks an exciting new chapter of growth for us in the last-mile delivery segment. While we began our journey in the passenger 3-wheeler space with SUPER AUTO and expanded into first-mile logistics with our RHINO heavy trucks, one segment we always wanted to make a foray is—Cargo for mid and last mile. With EVIATOR, we have already made inroads into the mid-mile segment. And now, with the launch of the SUPER CARGO, we are entering the highly strategic last-mile delivery space. As a Tru-EV brand, our responsibility goes beyond just offering vehicles—it is about enabling a cleaner, efficient future. With this, we are proud to expand our presence across segments and power India's mobility shift towards sustainability."
Roy Kurian, Business Head, Last Mile Mobility, added:
"Montra Electric SUPER CARGO is engineered with deep customer insights. It is packaged with unique features, and the 15-minute full charging option is a great benefit for B2B players. The Super Cargo is well-suited for a variety of applications for both fleet operators and individual entrepreneurs. Our expanding dealer network assures uptime across the nation."
The vehicle is now available for booking across more than 90 cities in India. It targets fleet operators and small entrepreneurs looking for reliable, cost-effective electric transport in the urban cargo segment.
The launch of the Montra Electric SUPER CARGO marks a decisive step toward clean, efficient, and high-performance urban cargo mobility.
