Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), backed by Jupiter Wagons Ltd. (JWL), has launched its first electric commercial vehicle showroom in Bengaluru. The company aims to push faster EV adoption across India. The new Jayanagar facility will act as a full-service experience center, offering product demos, test drives, service support, and financing help.
JEM launched its electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV), JEM TEZ, during the showroom inauguration. Built for city logistics, JEM TEZ delivers over 190 km of certified range, 80 kW of peak motor power, and 1.05 tons of payload capacity. The vehicle's compact form, quick torque, and low running cost suit last-mile delivery, FMCG logistics, and intra-city goods movement.
JEM picked Bengaluru for this launch because the city leads in EV use and logistics innovation. Bengaluru’s existing EV infrastructure and urban delivery demand make it an ideal first step in JEM’s national rollout. The new outlet offers sales consultations, test drives, repair services, and financing support, making EV adoption easier for fleet owners and logistics firms.
To support commercial users, JEM is building a complete EV ecosystem. The firm is setting up partnerships for charging networks, battery services, finance solutions, and after-sales care. Through its JEM Udaan program, the company is helping small businesses shift to electric transport.
JEM also opened a 2.5-acre production plant in Pithampur, Indore, which will produce 8,000 to 10,000 eLCVs each year. The plant adds scale to meet demand as JEM expands into Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Chennai.
JEM gains stability and scale from its parent company, Jupiter Wagons Ltd. (JWL). Known for rail wagons and mobility solutions, JWL brings decades of engineering and manufacturing experience. JWL has tie-ups with European rail technology firms like Tatravagonka a.s. and DAKO-CZ.
JWL had an order book of ₹6,303.60 crore as of March 31, 2025. Its stock has delivered 605% returns in three years and a staggering 2,900% in five years, reflecting strong investor trust. The company now looks to grow its EV segment using its robust supply chain and market reputation.
By launching the JEM TEZ eLCV and setting up a strong first showroom, JEM has triggered its pan-India expansion. With focused offerings for the commercial vehicle space and built-in support for buyers, JEM is set to reshape India’s electric last-mile delivery model. Through smart engineering, urban-focused design, and full-service backing, the company is driving India closer to sustainable logistics and cleaner cities.
