MoEVing, Tata Motors Team Up to Add 700 EVs for Last-Mile Logistics

MoEVing has collaborated with Tata Motors to deploy 700 electric small commercial vehicles, which is a big leap in India's sustainable last-mile logistics transition. The collaboration joins Tata Motors' tested EV technology and MoEVing's operational savvy to provide cleaner, more efficient city deliveries.

The range of vehicles will include Tata Ace EV and Ace Pro EV models, reaching over ten metropolitan cities like Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. These cars combined will travel 25 million kilometres each year while reducing carbon emissions by approximately 2,000 tonnes yearly.

As part of the partnership, Tata Motors dealers will own and maintain the vehicles, while MoEVing will take care of fleet operations and deployment. This model decreases operational complexity for customers and makes fleet electrification more scalable and affordable. Tata Motors' network of more than 200 EV support centres provides reliability and uptime, which are essential for commercial use.

Established in 2021, MoEVing currently operates over 2,500 electric vehicles, of which over 500 are electric four-wheel cargo vehicles, catering to e-commerce, FMCG, grocery, furniture, and logistics customers. The deployment further bolsters India's clean mobility ecosystem, providing businesses with an affordable, green solution for urban distribution.
