Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles on Thursday informed that it has commenced deliveries of its Tata Prima E.55S battery electric prime-mover to Enviiiro Wheels Mobility, a key provider of green commercial transportation solutions for the power, mining, cement, and steel sectors. The first batch of Tata Prima E.55S trucks were handed over in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh.
The first batch of Tata Prima E.55S, as per a press release issued by Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, will be deployed for transportation of minerals and ores. “As a young company committed to making logistics sustainable, the addition of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles’ advanced electric prime movers to our fleet marks a defining step towards decarbonised operations,” said Praveen Somani, Managing Director, Enviiiro Wheels Mobility. “Backed by Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles’ proven after-sales ecosystem, we are confident of building a future-ready fleet that sets new benchmarks in clean and efficient mineral and ore transportation.”
Tata Prima E.55S: Key Highlights
The Tata Prima E.55S boasts of a full-electric drivetrain with an integrated e-axle and state-of-the-art regenerative braking to maximise potential per-charge drive range. The company claims the electric truck has a range of 350 kilometers.
The other stellar highlights of Tata Prima E.55S includes a three-speed Auto Shift transmission with an e-axle, dual gun fast charging capability, Driver Monitoring System, Lane Departure Warning, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and Cruise Control, along with an Electronic Braking System and optional ADAS.
