Montra Electric Opens New e-SCV Dealership in Gurugram

In a significant leap for North India's sustainable mobility, Montra Electric, the 125-year-old Murugappa Group's clean mobility marque, has inaugurated a new e-SCV (Small Commercial Vehicle) dealership in Gurugram. SOL Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. operates the new facility, which will sell Montra Electric's lead electric SCV, the EViator, strengthening the brand's drive towards green last-mile mobility.

Placed strategically along NH-08 at Kherki Daula, the new dealership is a complete 3S facility that provides Sales, Service, Spares, and Charging. Designed to provide a seamless customer experience from vehicle discovery to after-sales support. This marks Montra Electric’s foray into one of North India’s most vital logistics and commercial corridors.

The launch event was graced by Mr. Saju Nair, CEO of TIVOLT Electric Vehicles Private Limited (SCV division of Montra Electric), and Mr. Rajesh Gulia, Director of SOL Automotive India Pvt. Ltd., alongside customers, stakeholders, and regional partners.

The EViator, Montra Electric's high-performance e-SCV, has been designed specifically for urban and semi-urban cargo transportation. Driven by an 80 kW motor that provides 300 Nm of torque, the EViator has a range of 245 km certified and 170 km in real-world driving, with more than 95% fleet uptime, courtesy of state-of-the-art telematics. The vehicle also comes with an extended warranty of 7 years or 2.5 lakh kilometers, highlighting the confidence of Montra Electric in its reliability and efficiency.

The launch of the Gurugram dealership is part of Montra Electric’s broader strategy to build a robust, tech-enabled dealership and service network across India, especially for commercial electric vehicles. The company’s growing SCV portfolio is reshaping last-mile logistics with a focus on zero-emission, high-uptime mobility.
