- As of February 2, 2024, India has seen substantial growth in public electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, with 12,146 charging stations available. This is a notable increase from 6,586 stations recorded on March 21, 2023. The majority of these stations are situated in urban areas, with cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai having the highest concentration of charging points.
