Latest: Here is what happened at the Auto Expo 2023 and the CV products showcased at the event.
The 16th Edition Auto Expo, India’s biggest automobile show was officially inaugurated in Greater Noida by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Government of India and Shri Mahendra Nath Pandey, Union Minister for Heavy Industries, Government of India.
There were numerous products that were showcased at the event by renowned commercial vehicle manufacturers that have a strong presence in the CV market. Moreover, there were also the latest entrants in the electric vehicle segment who have products that seem to be advanced in technology and superior in terms of performance.

First Media Day Of Auto Expo 2023:
Interestingly, the first media day at the Auto Expo 2023 consisted of multiple vehicle exhibitors and the total launched and unveiled numbers of products registered were over 59 including both global & India premiered.
As for commercial vehicle manufacturers, there were brands such as Greaves Cotton which showcased electric three-wheelers, JBM Auto which launched the JBM GALAXY, India's first indigenously developed and constructed 100% electric luxury coach, Ashok Leyland which showcased seven advanced mobility solutions, VE Commercial Vehicles which showcased future-ready mobility solutions and Eicher Motors which showcased the country’s longest 13.5m electric intercity coach.
Further, there were also brands such as Cummins Group India which displayed the Industry's first fuel-agnostic platform and Tata Motors which showcased a multitude of trucks and buses.

Second Media Day Of The Event:
On the second day of the Auto Expo 2023, there were numerous renowned brands and new manufacturers that showcased advanced products, precisely 23 unveil and launches. However, these are the combined figures of both passenger and commercial vehicles which were unveiled and launched.
Nonetheless, focusing on commercial vehicles, there were brands such as Sun Mobility which displayed its revolutionary SwapX battery swapping technology and compact swapping station for EVs, SML Isuzu which is another brand that showcased 4 products in cargo and passenger segments and Jupiter Electric Mobility that unveiled e-LCVs- the JEM TEZ of 2.2 Ton GVW and EV STAR CC of 7 Ton GVW.
Apart from these, there was also Godawari Electric Motors which commenced its EV journey in the country with the launch of its electric Auto (L5M) Eblu Rozee.
