Sustainable Cement Logistics: Eicher Trucks and Buses Unveils Latest Models at 15th Cement Expo

Eicher Trucks & Buses, a unit of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), showcased its newest line-up of sustainable heavy-duty trucks at the 15th Cement Expo, held at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi. A flagship event in the cement industry of India, it allowed the industry players to showcase logistics solutions.

Eicher had on display models like the Eicher Pro 2119 CNG and Eicher Pro 6028TM, with a 10-cubic-meter drum capacity on a 6x4 platform. The company also launched the Pro-6055 LNG-a next-generation 55T GCW 4x2 tractor trailer-presented by Mr. Sagar R Kadu, Director Logistics, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. These models epitomize the firm's interest in alternative fuels like CNG and LNG, combined with advanced features and service support.

Other interactive displays at the event included My Eicher, highlighting the service network, and the Uptime Centre, showing the range of operational support tools available to vehicle operators.

The event showcased vehicles specially designed for cement logistics, offering increased payload capacity, operational efficiency, and wider service coverage.

Eicher Trucks offer more than 1,100 service touchpoints, 5–7% improvements in fuel efficiency, and operational features designed for faster turnaround and optimized total cost of operations, according to the company.
