Sensorise Takes Over LocoNav India Op, Launches Eagle.ai for Smarter Fleet Management

In a major development for India's commercial vehicle landscape, Sensorise has officially acquired LocoNav's Indian operations, strengthening its footing in the connected mobility and telematics domain. The strategic acquisition, finished in October 2025, is planned to strengthen Sensorise's footprint in the fast-growing vehicle tracking and fleet management business.

The launch also coincides with the introduction of Eagle.ai, Sensorise's new AI-driven platform that is intended to maximize operational efficiency for transport businesses, logistics companies and fleet owners. As a cutting-edge alternative to traditional telematics solutions, Eagle.ai combines real-time data analysis, predictive maintenance, and driver behavior tracking, providing smarter insights to optimize fleet performance.

The move is the culmination of months of strategic alignment between the two companies. Sensorise, with its embedded SIM technology and IoT-based solutions, will now benefit from LocoNav's existing customer base and field infrastructure in India. This comprises access to a network of thousands of commercial vehicles that are already using LocoNav's tracking software.

Through Eagle.ai, users can monitor vehicle movement, track fuel consumption, schedule servicing windows and view compliance reports all in real-time. The platform allows for integration with existing hardware, which should simplify adoption for existing users of LocoNav services.

Existing LocoNav India customers will all be migrated to Eagle.ai platform in the next few months, according to company representatives. The transition should be smooth, there will be complete support for current tracking devices and service plans.

The acquisition also mirrors industry trends. As commercial fleets expand in size and sophistication, operators are asking for smarter software solutions to handle uptime, expense and regulatory mandates. Eagle.ai is being positioned to meet these challenges by integrating AI models with sensor-enabled vehicle data.

Experts say that this development could shape how vehicle tracking software in India is developed, particularly in industries such as logistics, mining and public transport. With growing regulation of fleet safety and emissions, platforms like Eagle.ai are poised to define the benchmark for fleet management solutions in 2025 and beyond.

Currently, there is no price shift or change in service continuity for users of LocoNav in India. Nonetheless, Sensorise has revealed that Eagle.ai will be updated with an emphasis on data security, scalability and support for local languages, bringing the product in sync with varied working requirements of India's transport ecosystem.

The deal can also trigger a wave of consolidation in India's connected mobility space, with competition shifting towards comprehensive platforms that bring together hardware, software and analytics all under one roof.
