Propel Industries Unveils Four Electric Tippers at EXCON 2025 Event

Propel Industries Private Limited launched these new electric tipper trucks, along with the connectivity solution and the after-sales service offer, at the EXCON 2025. This launch took place in the presence of Dr. Soumya Ranjan Samal, the founder and CMD of Kalinga Commercial Corporation Limited, and Mr. J. Rudrasekar, the director of RAJIRAJ MINERALS PRIVATE LIMITED.

The four models of tipper trucks revealed are 90CED, 70CED, 560HEV-X, and 470MEV Gen-2. In addition to this, the company introduced Pulse.ev, which is a connectivity solution, and Pro EV Care, which is a service program for e-commerce fleets.

V. Senthilkumar, the Managing Director of Propel Industries, said that all the new machines meet the operational requirements of heavy mining and construction sites. Senthilkumar also remarked, “These new product launches will further enhance the ecosystem for the use of heavy-duty electric machines in the Indian market.”

90CED is a fast-charge 90-ton electric dumper, offering 34 cbm striking capacity and a battery capacity choice of 310-650kW. Safety standards are met by the inclusion of safety features of ADAS Level 1, electronic braking, driver fatigue monitoring, and adherence to DGMS safety standards.

The 70CED has an 8X4 design and has a rock body capacity of 25CBM. The 560HEV-X has an 8X4 design and offers 25CBM box body capacity. The 470MEV Gen-2 tipper has 6X4 design dimensions with 20CBM rock body capacity and offers three different battery packs.

All tipper models have a battery guarantee of 5,000 cycles or five years. They have lithium-ion batteries, an integrated battery firewall, and an auto fire detection and suppression system.

Siddarth Kirtane, President of Sales, Marketing, and Service - Electric Vehicle Sales, spoke on the innovation, productivity, eco-friendly operation, and future-proof heavy-duty mobility at Propel. Having started their operation in the electric truck market in 2023, the Propel electric trucks have been employed in coal, overburden, limestone, iron ore, stone quarry, marble/granite, and solid waste management sectors. It has already clocked more than 500,000 hours in operation with its initial eight units running 12,500 hours in two years, or 20 hours daily.

The Pulse.ev connectivity solution is capable of vehicle health monitoring, energy analysis, predictive maintenance, and fleet optimization for multi-shift applications.

Pro EV Care has five levels of service, and they offer uptime assurance and predictable operating costs.

Founded in the year 2009, Propel Industries is engaged in the manufacturing of crushing, screening, and washing machinery. The company currently supports more than 50 countries with over 3,000 installations and offers 135 models of machinery in its portfolio. Entering the electric trucks market in the year 2023 is an important diversification move for the company in the zero-emission heavy-duty transport sector.
