Mahindra Expands Commercial Vehicle Operations with Inauguration of 3S Dealership in Hisar

Mahindra Trucks and Buses inaugurated a 3S dealership in Hisar, Haryana. The facility, under the ownership of M/s J K Automart, is the 97th dealership under Mahindra Trucks and Buses. The 22,000 sq. ft. facility has five service bays and can service over six vehicles per day. It also provides driver lodging, 24-hour breakdown assistance and AdBlue availability.

Mr. Vinod Sahay, President- Trucks, Buses and Construction Equipment and Member of the Group Executive Board, said the combined Mahindra Truck, Bus, and SML network now comprised 203 dealerships, 137 2S dealerships, and 273 authorized workshops across the country. He added that Mahindra Group holds close to 7% market share in trucks and buses put together, and 24% in I&LCV buses. The company plans to take the aggregate market share for its overall portfolio to 10–12% by FY31 and more than 20% by FY36.

Dr. Venkat Srinivas, Business Head Mahindra Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment, explained some of the features of the company's operations: the telematics solution iMAXX enables fleet owners to monitor and manage their vehicles. The service guarantees include returning vehicles to the road within 48 hours or compensation from the company, and dealer workshop turnaround within 36 hours, with compensation if timelines are not met. The BLAZO X, FURIO, OPTIMO, and JAYO range of Mahindra trucks come with such benefits.

The Hisar dealership offers sales, spares, and service for HCVs, ICVs, LCVs, and buses. Aggregated with the SML network, Mahindra’s commercial vehicle operations have 203 3S dealerships, 137 2S dealerships, 273 authorized workshops, over 2,000 spares retailers, more than 200 mobile service vans, and 22 exclusive M-Parts Plazas. The company runs a multi-lingual 24x7 helpline manned by technical experts for customer support and complaint resolution.

The new facility expands Mahindra Trucks and Buses' commercial vehicle and after-sales network in India.
