In conjunction with these trucks, Tesla is building a Megacharger network, where these rapid charging stations charge the battery quickly, minimizing downtime for fleets. The change to electric power alleviates logistics companies from the highs and lows of diesel fuel prices while dramatically cutting down on maintenance of conventional combustion engines.
