Leading and renowned technology and sustainable solutions companies, Advik Hi-Tech and Nikki Co Ltd of Japan have joined hands for a new technology-based collaboration under which the two brands plan to manufacture CNG regulators for the Indian market which is currently seeing a surge in CNG-based vehicles. The two companies signed a pact which aims to introduce innovations in the sustainable CNG space for the Indian market at an affordable cost.
It is believed that with Nikki’s proven technology and Advik’s experience in the manufacturing sector, the product that they plan on manufacturing will be used in internal combustion engine applications for both the passenger and commercial vehicle market. Under this latest collaboration, Advik expands its product portfolio in the passenger car and commercial vehicle segments.
Further, it has been stated that under the tech collaboration, the design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of compact CNG regulators will be undertaken by both companies in order to cater to the Indian and international markets.

As for CNG regulators, they are used in CNG vehicles to depressurise and adjust the pressure of the gaseous fuel filled in the fuel tank. This product is used across both the commercial segment including industrial equipment like forklifts and the passenger vehicle segment.

With Nikki’s world-renowned technology for regulators, and Advik’s strength in manufacturing, both companies aim to capture the burgeoning Indian mobility market for CNG regulators.”
He added, “In line with the Government of India’s mandate for Atmanirbhar Bharat, products out of this technical collaboration would be manufactured in India to boost the Government’s initiative. Advik being selected for PLI will enable India to adopt indigenous leading global technologies. The CNG regulator is part of Advik’s approved PLI and the OEMs in India as well as the country will be benefitted at large. India will be a multi-fuel market and CNG will play a critical role in widespread alternative fuel adoption”
