  1. Why is checking truck mirrors important?

Checking the mirrors frequently will help you avoid certain dangerous objects and vehicles around your truck. The more mirrors you have the better since it gives a better field of vision. With more mirrors, you could also reduce the blind spot areas which are the major cause of crashes involving trucks.

  1. How to adjust the Mirrors?

Next, to adjust your truck’s mirrors correctly, you need to begin with adjusting your seat height, recline angle and position against the wheel. Soon after that, you can adjust your flat and convex mirrors according to your requirements, for the best view.

Further, adjust the flat mirrors in a way that you can see the left and right rear corners of your truck. Tilt the flat mirror up and down until you can see the rear corner, side of the truck and the road. However, adjust the convex mirror far down and far out from the truck. This will make sure that you can see the lane adjacent to you.
