A new partnership between Altigreen and LOHUM for the disposal and low-carbon recycling of EV batteries

The unique feature of this partnership is the use of NEETM technology. LOHUM will use this technology to recycle dead batteries of Altigreen electric vehicles. With the help of this technology, 95% of battery raw materials can be recovered and will be used to manufacture new batteries. The new partnership will enable LOHUM to recycle 1 GWh of Altigreen electric vehicles, which will reduce battery waste.

In recent years, the EV market has grown a lot, increasing the demand for batteries. This in turn has led to increased battery waste. This is why Altigreen and LOHUM joined hands to tackle this critical issue and achieve Alitgreen's responsible battery disposal and recycling targets. The partnership aims to build a low-carbon future and help in an effective recycling process.

Altigreen, a manufacturer of electric 3-wheelers along with LOHUM, a producer of sustainable battery raw materials have decided to partner to tackle the issue of sustainable battery disposal.

Talking about the partnership, Dr. Amitabh Saran, Founder and CEO of Altigreen commented, " This partnership will enable us to responsibly manage the end-of-life batteries from our electric vehicles, reducing waste and minimizing the environmental impact of our operations." Rajat Verma, Founder and CEO of LOHUM also expressed his views and said, "Through our battery recycling expertise, we aim to support Altigreen in their commitment to circular economy practices and contribute to the overall growth of the EV industry."
