TVS Motor Company Introduces King Kargo HD CNG Three-Wheeler in India

TVS Motor Company has introduced a new variant of its three-wheeler cargo vehicle, the TVS King Kargo HD CNG variant, which is a CNG-sourced power-driven vehicle meant to facilitate the requirements of the growing commercial mobility landscape in the country. The company announced its launch on the 5th of February, 2026. The vehicle is set to be rolled out across various regions such as Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh.

The King Kargo HD CNG comes with an introductory price tag of around ₹2,70,648 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and its price seems to be set keeping in mind the cost-conscious fleet owners who rely on such three-wheelers for daily cargo operations. It commands power from a 301.1 cc liquid-cooled engine delivering 9.1 kW of power and 22.4 Nm torque, ensuring smooth performance even while carrying loads.

In terms of engineering, the King Kargo HD CNG boasts a 6.6-foot load deck, which the company claims is the segment's best, and relies on a leaf spring suspension mechanism to provide smooth performance even on the rough roads that characterize urban areas. The vehicle boasts the use of entirely rolling windows, which the company argues aids in the provision of increased ventilation around the vehicle's seating position, and the Power Gear is said to assist in torque delivery, especially in harsher loads. The vehicle is capable of achieving a maximum speed of 62 km/h and boasts a ground clearance of 235 mm and turning radius of 3,420 mm.

Yet another important factor in the King Kargo HD CNG's specification is the warranty offered. The standard warranty provided is a three-year or 1.5 lakh kilometers package, along with roadside assistance and a support network of hundreds of workshops. This is particularly relevant to commercial users of the vehicle, as reliability can have a considerable impact.

From the market side, it can be seen that the launch aligns with the company’s strategy of expanding its portfolio in the CV segment. Earlier, the company introduced King Kargo HD EV, which is an eCV meant to be used in urban and semi-urban logistics. The CNG variant will provide customers with yet another option in comparison to their petrol counterparts.
