YOUDHA strengthens its market presence in the electric commercial vehicles market with the launch of its new Trevo L5 electric cargo three-wheeler in New Delhi. The Trevo L5 is designed for last-mile connectivity and is considered an alternative solution for ICE-powered cargo three-wheelers.
The Trevo L5 with pricing ranging between ₹4.35 lakh and ₹4.75 lakh, based on battery type, has been designed for companies looking to ensure lower operating costs and retain payload capacity.
Trevo L5 comes equipped with an electric motor that produces 10 kW of power, ensuring that it can reach speeds of up to 48 km/h. Battery types vary and range from an 11.8 kWh fixed pack to a 7.6 kWh swappable battery pack. Estimates indicate that the range for the vehicle is estimated to be between 130 to 150 km when fully charged, which requires four to five hours to charge.
The cargo three-wheeler supports a Gross Vehicle Weight of 1,200 kg. It sports 4.50-10, 8PR tyres, and provides gradeability up to 13 degrees, enabling operations across typical urban loading conditions. Cargo body options include half-deck configurations of 140 cu. ft. and 170 cu. ft. - offering choices for a variety of logistics applications.
Trevo L5 provides a complete cabin and doors from the driver's perspective, together with vehicle monitoring capability through a CAN-based digital instrument cluster.
Trevo L5 is the second product launch of YOUDHA after YOUDHA EPOD. Parent company Zuperia Auto said it will invest ₹20 crore to increase EV manufacturing capacity and strengthen dealer and service networks. While doing so, YOUDHA remains committed to Electric Commercial Vehicles for Indian conditions, products designed to be highly durable, ensuring consistency in performance, and at the same time keeping the Total Cost of Operations in check.
