The Volvo 9600 offer luxury and exclusivity unique to the brand and gets best-in-class features for the safety and comfort requirements of its users.

1. Engine and Performance: 

The Volvo 9600 comes with a mighty Volvo D8K6350, a common rail injection engine which has the capacity to deliver 260kW (350Hp) of maximum power at 2200rpm and 1350Nm of peak torque at around 1200 to 1600rpm. This powerful engine is mated to an I-shift automated manual gearbox (12F & 4R) available with the integrated hydrodyanamic retarder. 

2. Passenger experience: 

As for its seating and passenger experience, the vehicle comes in a theatre-type saloon which has a premium push-back seating layout in a 2x2 configuration. Further, Individual USB charging ports, AC louvers and reading lights are provided. Customers also have the option to choose from the elegant trim and colour schemes on offer. Do note that all of these are applicable to the Seater Model which comes in  55 + 1(D) + 1(CD) without calf support or 51 + 1(D) + 1(CD) with calf support configuration. 

The Sleeper model, on the other hand, comes with flat floor station and Berths. The berths layout is in a 2x1 configuration that makes it Spacious and comfortable. It also comes with children-friendly soft-touch handles, ladders and restrainers. The sleeper model rolls off the showroom floor with 40 berths  + 1(D) + 1(CD) (2 levels).

The Volvo 9600 Seater model comes with dimensions rated 15000mm in length, 3800mm in height and 2600mm in width. It gets a wheelbase of 8350mm and a permitted GVW of 22200kg. The Volvo 9600 Sleeper model also comes in the same dimensions as the Seater model, however, its height is rated 4000mm to accommodate the sleeper berths. Furthermore, it comes with a 540L fuel tank capacity in addition to the AdBlue which is 50L. 

4. Safety Equipment: 

The Volvo 9600 is built to provide maximum safety to its occupants. It gets Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC), Volvo disc brakes (EBS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) among others.
