Here are the latest details of the Force Motors Urbania Van, India’s first fully ground-up, modular monocoque panel van platform.

Force Motors Limited, the renowned Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company, has never failed to surprise the commercial vehicle market. Several reports have also stated that Force Motors has a dedicated state-of-the-art manufacturing facility exclusively for producing this premium vehicle- Urbania.

The Force Urbania is a premium vehicle that comes with features never before seen in its segment. The vehicle offers world-class design, an aerodynamically designed body for better performance, stability and reduced body roll, a Frontal Crash Compliant Monocoque Structure to enhance the safety of its occupants and Dual Airbags and Collapsible Steering for reducing the impact on the driver and co-driver in case of an accident.

Not only this, the vehicle comes with advanced ESP, ABS and EBD for utmost braking performance in panic situations and to prevent loss of control during emergencies. Apart from this, the front end including the bumper is specially designed to reduce the impact on pedestrians in the event of an accident. The Force Urbania also has high-strength steel reinforcements for rollover protection. 

Further, the Urbania also offers a Hill-Hold Assist feature, High-Security Vehicle Transponder Based Engine Immobiliser for utmost protection and safety.

Force Urbania Comfort Features: 

For the comfort of its occupants, the Force Urbania comes equipped with a state-of-the-art driver cockpit with switches and controls that are anthropometrically designed for driver comfort and easy visibility of the instrumental panel. It also features a tilt and telescopic steering wheel for better driving posture and comfort. 

Other than these, the van also comes with a 17.8 cm LCD touchscreen with built-in Bluetooth and camera inputs, a 6/8 speaker acoustic system, Central Locking and Power Windows, Engine Start-Stop and Reverse Park Assistance.

Force Urbania Van Powertrain & Other Details: 

The Force Urbania comes equipped with a powerful and proven Mercedes-derived FM 2.6 CR ED TCIC diesel engine which has the capacity to churn out 115 HP of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, the Urbania will be made available in short, medium and long-wheelbase variants, with 10, 13 and 17-passenger seating capacities respectively. Force Motors has also stated that the vehicle has a bull-inspired design which integrates projector headlamps with LED DRLs and LED taillamps.
