Working with Chartered Speed, EKA Mobility—a breakthrough project for India's electric mobility initiative—has entered into a Letter of Award (LOA) to introduce 675 electric buses in eight major state of Rajasthan cities. Under the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme, the deployment under which public transportation would be made more sustainable with zero emission mobility

Charging the Rajasitan Bus Fleet

The winning project calls for 565 nine-meter and 110 twelve-meter all-electric buses to be installed in Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, Bhilwara, Jodhpur. For thousands of daily commuters, the electric buses are expected to provide modern, dependable, and ecologically responsible means of transportation.

This deployment fits Rajasistan's goal of:

  • Address rising air pollution levels.
  • Less reliance on traditional fuels might help
  • Improve its public transportation system.

The action also complements the recent Letter of Confirmation of Quantity (LOCQ) received from CESL (Convergence Energy Services Limited) for the acquisition of EV buses all over India, therefore registering a milestone in the country's green mobility quest.

Officials Comment on the Historic Project

Business Head and Chief Growth Officer EKA Mobility, Mr. Rohit Srivastava, said:

This milestone shows that electric mobility is already among us, not some dream of the future. The forward-looking electrification trend of Rajasthan is ideally in line with our aim of changing daily commutes and building a cleaner India."

Chartered Speed's Whole-Time Director, Mr. Sanyam Gandhi, said:

"We take great pride in helping PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme transforms urban transportation. Our main goal is to build an effective low-emission transit system that satisfies changing city needs as well as those of its people.

Building on Momentum

Following a sequence of strategic successes for EKA Mobility, this announcement marks:

  • Two significant agreements totaling ₹150 crore from UPSRTC, or Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation
  • An order from Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) worth ₹400 crore

These initiatives underline EKA Mobility's uncompromising dedication to sustainable public transportation and help to further consolidate its growing presence in the Indian e-Mobility scene.

Motivating Urban Mobility Towards Future

Not only are EKA Mobility and Chartered Speed improving clean public transportation with the addition of 675 electric buses in Rajasthan, but they also significantly help to enable India's general aspirations for EV adoption and climate change agenda. This cooperation is a wonderful case study of how private-public partnerships could enable transformative change in urban mobility, so improving its intelligence, cleanliness, and connectivity.

Conclusion

A major landmark in India's shift toward greener public transportation is the deployment of 675 electric buses in Rajasthan by EKA Mobility and Chartered Speed. Apart from matching national level clean mobility goals, the project enhances public transportation commuting experience and offers a benchmark for green development in public transport. Under projects like the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme, India fast-forward its EV push shows the pragmatic use of innovation and teamwork in building a strong, sustainable transport future.
