EKA is an indigenous electric automobile manufacturer, bringing sustainable new energy vehicles with a vision-conscious ecosystem for mass transportation. The company excels in the manufacturing of electric buses, with lowest TCO and quality products, especially, to suit the changing requirements of the customer. The bus comes in two variants, with 650mm and 900mm platform options. With plenty of seating configurations, the EKA 9 makes use of its modular architecture to be the minibus for every application.
Features of the EKA 9 Bus
Comfort: Wide body (2.5m) with 2x2 comfortable seating arrangement, front and rear air suspension, ample leg space for passenger’s comfort. Equipped with power steering, tilt and telescopic steering, and ergonomically designed center console that takes care of driver‘s comfort. EKA 9 comes with a company fitted AC, demister and bacterial filtration system.
Economy: Designed to give the lowest Total Cost of Ownership. This is achieved by several cutting-edge technologies and lightweight high strength steel monocoque chassis. Its modular design and composite body ensures excellent TCO.
Performance: Powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) with maximum power of 213 KW and maximum torque of 2352 Nm enabling it to give the best in class performance in terms of acceleration, top speed, and reliability. The bus is equipped with best-in class power to weight ratio, driveability & generates minimum noise for a smooth ride. EKA 9 comes with a regenerative braking system.
Safety: EKA 9 is setting a new standard with its ventilated disc brakes on all 4 wheels. EKA 9 has the safest braking model in its class of vehicles with an advanced EBS. The bus also comes with a driver assistance system (ADAS), cameras, emergency stop button, that gives additional safety to passengers.
Convenience: Convenient overhead hat racks to provide safe & secure storage. Well positioned & adjustable AC vents. Charging ports and foldable platforms for on-the-go connectivity.
