VECV recorded a sharp increase of 37.3 percent in sales to 7,652 trucks and buses in November 2025, compared with 5,574 units in November 2024. The Eicher brand was the main contributor to this growth, posting sales of 7,425 units in November 2025, against 5,359 units in the same period last year, representing a 38.6 percent jump in volumes. Eicher sold 6,720 units in the domestic commercial-vehicle market against 4,957 units in November 2024, registering a growth of 35.6 percent over the same period last year, indicating sustained demand in light, medium and heavy-duty segments.
Exports also played a key role in the month's performance, with VECV shipping 705 units abroad in November 2025, against 402 units shipped in the corresponding period last year. The resulting 75.4 percent increase indicates the company is continuing to gain momentum in international markets, where demand for mid-range and heavy-duty commercial vehicles remains firm. In the premium space, Volvo-branded trucks and buses under VECV sold 227 units in November 2025, slightly higher than the 215 units reported in November 2024, reflecting a 5.6 percent rise in that segment.
Cumulative sales numbers indicate all-round strength across the VECV portfolio. Strong domestic demand indicates that fleet operators continue to add capacity and replace older vehicles amidst sustained freight movement and infrastructure-led activity. But at the same time, strong growth in export volumes underlines the company’s expanding reach in overseas markets, where buying sentiment appears to have firmed up through the latter part of the year.
With growth visible across both domestic and international channels, VECV's performance last month underlines the resilience of India's commercial-vehicle sector. Continuing current trends, the company is likely to maintain steady dispatches as it enters the final months of the fiscal year.
