Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles has released its widest collection of Euro 6-compliant trucks and buses targeted for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The launch in Dubai was a significant milestone in the company's international expansion, as it continues to meet the increasing demand for cleaner and efficient mobility in the region.
The display highlighted solutions that cater to both cargo transport and passenger transport. Each vehicle is built for performance and robustness, while local operational conditions and international emission regulations are priorities in similar kinds of work.
The Middle East and North Africa are going all out on infrastructure and sustainable transportation. Tata Motors' Euro 6 line is testament to this trend. Designed for diverse applications, from urban transportation to cross-country haulage, these vehicles address fuel efficiency, reliability and comfort.
At the event, Mr. Asif Shamim, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles' Head of International Business, highlighted the brand's ongoing contribution to the mobility transformation of the region. He stated,
“As the MENA region moves forward with its economic and infrastructure goals, the need for advanced mobility solutions grows stronger. Tata Motors has partnered in this journey for nearly six decades. Our latest range represents commitment, innovation, and readiness for the future.”
The new range addresses passenger and cargo mobility:
Tata Motors is now serving local customers through over 100 service centres in the Middle East. Each of these centres has genuine parts, technical expertise and scheduled maintenance. Consumers are able to opt in to even longer warranties or customized per- year maintenance contracts as an even better means of ensuring uptime and cost management.
With Gulf nations focusing on reducing emissions and sustainable development, Euro 6 vehicles are becoming a mandatory upgrade for transport fleets. The new range of Tata Motors is in line with such policies and helps logistics operators to comply with changing environmental requirements.
The company currently exports commercial vehicles to more than 40 countries. It has in its portfolio small cargo carriers of less than 1 tonne capacity to 60-tonne haulage trucks and up to 71 passenger-carrying buses. Production occurs in India and South Korea, with operations that reach as far as Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Southeast Asia and the SAARC territories.
