Piaggio Introduces Ape Xtra Bada 700 and Ape Xtra 600; Expands Its Diesel Cargo Lineup

Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd introduced two diesel cargo three-wheelers, the Ape Xtra Bada 700 and ApeXtra 600, targeted at strengthening its last-mile mobility portfolio and meeting emerging commercial vehicle demand.

The Ape Xtra Bada 700 will come with a 7-ft cargo deck, which is claimed as the largest in its segment, and supports a payload of 750 kg, the highest for any cargo three-wheeler. It is powered by a 700 DI diesel engine with a new chassis, cabin, and digital instrument cluster. Other features include 12-inch radial tyres, improved suspension geometry, and an optional rear sensor for reversing assistance. These specifications target operators seeking higher productivity and efficient load management in urban and semi-urban logistics.

TheApeXtra 600 features a 600 DI diesel engine, which assures improved fuel efficiency, gradeability, and load-carrying performance. The Ape Xtra 600 is particularly aimed at intra-city deliveries and semi-urban logistics. It further consolidates Piaggio's position in the entry-level cargo segment.

Both models will be available from November 2025 at ₹3.45 lakh for the Ape Xtra Bada 700 and ₹2.88 lakh for the Ape Xtra 600, ex-showroom, Maharashtra.
