Each of the buses is estimated to reduce CO2 emissions by over 250,000 metric tons annually, amounting to over 3 million metric tons over the lifespan. The electric buses play an extremely significant role in combating city air pollution because they are clean, quiet, and efficient.
A Greener Vision by PMI's CEO Dr. Aanchal Jain, CEO of PMI Electro Mobility, stated at the flag-off ceremony that he was immensely proud and grateful:
"It is an honor for us to have our buses flagged off by the Hon'ble Prime Minister." His vision of a Green Viksit Bharat leads the way in all we do, from producing electric buses to beginning bottom-up movements like the seed card initiative.
She also spoke about PMI's commitment to sustainability, innovation, and community service. She demonstrated how even the little things, such as planting a seed or riding an electric bus, can make the world a better place.
