The Tata Yodha 2.0 sources its power from the renowned 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which is known as one of the most reliable and trusted diesel engines for commercial vehicles. Used in various commercial vehicles from Tata Motors in the past, this engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and produces a maximum power output of 100 PS and peak torque output of 250 Nm.

Taking the old-generation Tata 207 and Tata Xenon as inspirations, the overall design of the Tata Yodha 2.0 looks more evolved and slightly more modern with a few exclusive design highlights. Compared to other iterations of Yodha, the 2.0 has a sleeker-looking front fascia comprising a smaller grille accentuated by a chrome-garnished panel. The angular headlamps of the Tata Yodha 2.0 have repositioned lights within them. The front bumper has been restyled for the Tata Yodha 2.0, and it gets better approach angles and looks more stylish with the silver accents on its corners.

Compared to other iterations of the Yodha pickup, the Tata Yodha 2.0 gets a few additional features to make it look not-so-basic. While it still gets an all-grey theme for the interior, the cabin is equipped with additional features. The four-spoke steering wheel and all-analogue instrument console look as if they belong to a large vehicle, with the instrument console also having a tachometer.
The all-grey cabin of the Tata Yodha 2.0 looks quite basic and feels built-to-cost, but it feels sturdy and offers the feels and comfort of a larger vehicle.
In addition to the 1-DIN audio system and manual AC over other versions of the Yodha pickup, the Tata Yodha 2.0 also has power steering, eco mode, a gear shift indicator and a fast mobile charger.
