• Exterior

  There is not much to describe the exterior design of the Tata LPT 3518, since it is available as a cowl-only heavy-duty truck. The LPT 3518 gets a semi-cowl at the front sans a windscreen. This halved front profile of the Tata LPT 3518 is almost flat and has a vertical layout. The truck gets a squared theme for the front grille in the centre of the body cowl. There are a few extensions of the grille in the form of vents on either side of the grille. The cowl also has turn indicators on its upper corners. The blacked metal bumper of the Tata LPT 3518 gets rectangular headlamps on its corners. 

  Summary

  The front profile of the Tata LPT 3518 doesn't get a windscreen or body above it as a factory fitment, with the cowl having a squared grille in the middle and headlamps on the corners of the front bumper.

• Interior

  The Tata LPT 3518 has a very unique dashboard having a distinctive design for the centre console. The open dashboard of the Tata LPT 3518 is finished in a brownish grey theme for the entire dashboard. The rectangular housing behind the two-spoke steering wheel has a comprehensive instrument console. Talking about the curved centre console, the part facing the driver has switches for AC and other systems, while the part facing the co-driver side has two rounded air vents on it.

  The Tata LPT 3518 has a unique curved design for the centre console of the dashboard, which gets a brownish grey theme.

  While the Tata LPT 3518 doesn’t get a body as a factory fitment, it can be fabricated as an aftermarket thing. The bare-bones truck gets air vents, power steering and a few usable storage spaces in the open cabin.

  The full-size Tata LPT 3518 gets its power from a 5.6-litre six-cylinder Cummins ISBe diesel engine, which is one of the oldest engines used by Tata Motors for its heavy-duty commercial vehicles. In the LPT 3518, this engine is paired to a G950 6-speed manual gearbox and churns out 186 bhp of maximum power output and a maximum torque output of 850 Nm.
