The source of power for the Tata Intra V10 is a compact and frugal 0.8-liter two-cylinder diesel engine, which is currently one of the smallest diesel engines for a commercial vehicle sold in the country. The engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox and pumps out 44 PS of maximum power output and 110 Nm of maximum torque output.
The 0.8-litre diesel engine might seem to be underpowered at first, but it perfectly serves the purpose for a compact commercial vehicle like the Tata Intra V10.
Like other compact commercial vehicles from Tata, the Tata Intra V10 also has setups of semi-elliptical leaf springs at both front and rear for the suspension combination. At the front, the Intra V10 gets six springs, while the packs of seven leaf springs are employed on the rear wheels. The Tata Intra V30 is a one-step above the familiar-looking Ace Gold, which is available in the market for years now. A solid evolution over the Ace Gold, the Tata Intra V10 looks sharp and premium from the front with angular halogen headlamps. These angular halogen headlamps also have clear lens turn indicators integrated within them. The wide-looking grille covering the lower part of the front profile has a thick slab of chrome garnish at the top of it. Additional mesh is present in the middle of the front bumper.
The mesh grille with chrome garnish above it adds some visual appeal to the front look of the Tata Intra V30.
Once you step inside the Tata Intra V30, you are greeted with an all-grey cabin of the small truck. While the all-grey theme might look dark for some, the cabin feels spacious due to the dashboard-mounted gear lever. This liberates space between the front seats and creates room for a third person with an almost flat floor below.
