The Tata 610 SFC is an extension of the 407 range with more payload, larger dimensions and tweaked chassis. It is offered in India in three variants &ndash; CBC, HDLB and FSD, all of which claim a payload capacity of 3,300 kg. It is powered by the 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine which it shares with the 407 range.&nbsp;

The Tata 610 SFC sources its power from a 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which is the mainstay of all the light-duty commercial vehicles from Tata Motors. Also found in the 407 range, this 3.0-litre engine produces a maximum power output of 136 PS, while the peak torque output of this engine is rated at 300 Nm. This engine is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.

Shared with the Tata 407 range, the 3.0-litre diesel engine in the Tata 610 SFC produces 136 PS of maximum power and 300 Nm of maximum torque output. 

The Tata 610 SFC comes equipped with a Parabolic spring with rubber bush, 2 no Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers with Antiroll bar at the front, and Semi elliptical leaf spring, and 2 no Hydraulic Double acting Shock Absorbers at the rear. The Tata 610 SFC comes equipped with 8.25-16 tyres, with two each at both front and rear.&nbsp;

Equipped with 8.25-16 tyres all around, the Tata 610 SFC has a leaf-spring-based suspension at both front and rear. 

The Tata 610 SFC is offered in three different variants &ndash; CBC, HDLB and FSD, all of which share the same wheelbase of 3305mm and gross vehicle weight of 5950 kg. With a length of 5405mm, the CBC is 10mm shorter than both HDLB and FSD. Even the 1905mm width of the CBC variant makes it narrower than the 2100mm wider HDLB and FSD variants. With a height of 2850mm, the FSD variant is taller than both CBC and HDLB variants, which are 2330mm tall. All three variants of the Tata 610 SFC have a ground clearance of 249mm and a payload capacity of 3,300 kg.

Having an unmistakable design which has become an icon in all these recent decades, the overall design of the 407 range has been retained in the Tata 610 SFC as well. This truck has a tapering down the bonnet, which ends up in a wide-looking front fascia comprising a vertically-aligned grille with rectangular headlamps on either side. All these elements are present within a blacked-out housing.&nbsp;

The Tata 610 SFC has an all-black layout for its cabin, which looks basic but is very functional and spacious. The driver&rsquo;s cockpit of the Tata 610 SFC includes a two-spoke steering wheel and a large instrument console behind it, both of which look very basic for today&rsquo;s times. The rectangular-themed centre console of the Tata 610 SFC is occupied by an array of switches on its side.&nbsp;

The Tata 610 SFC comes equipped with a decent list of must-have features, such as power steering, a 1-Din audio system and an air conditioner.&nbsp;
