The Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ is one of the latest iterations of the iconic Tata 047 range of midsize trucks in India. The Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ is being offered in three different variants, all of which comes powered by a 3.0-litre 136 PS diesel engine.&nbsp;

The engine powering the Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ is an iconic and tried and tested 4SPCR 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. Coupled with a G400 5-speed manual gearbox, this engine produces a maximum power output of 136 PS and a maximum torque output of 300 Nm.&nbsp;

The 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine of the Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ is capable of producing 136 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. 

Underneath the midsize truck body, the Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ gets a leaf spring-based suspension setup. This entire unit is a combination of a parabolic spring with a rubber bush, 2 no hydraulic double-acting shock absorbers at the front and a semi-elliptical leaf spring, and 2 no hydraulic double-acting shock absorbers at the rear. The Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ rides on 7.00 R16LT tyres.

There are three different iterations of the Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ to choose from &ndash; CAB, CLB and HD. The CLB and HD versions measure 5415mm long and 2100mm wide. On the other hand, the length and width of the CAB version are 5405mm and 1905mm respectively. While the CAB and CLB versions have the same height of 2300mm, the HD version measures 2820mm tall. The Tata 407 Gold 29 WB has a gross vehicle weight of 4995 kg, a ground clearance of 210mm, a turning diameter of 13100mm and a maximum payload capacity of 2800kg.&nbsp;

Available in three versions â€“ CAB, CLB and HD, the maximum payload capacity claimed by Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ is around 2800 kg. 

The overall design of the Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ has remained more or less unchanged since the existence of the 407 range from the &lsquo;80s. However, this latest iteration of the Tata 407 range gets a slightly revised front fascia, in which the lower part of the fascia below the tapered bonnet gets all-black plastic surrounds for the headlamps. The headlamps, which have rounded edges, get a rectangular grille with horizontal slats and rounded edges in between them.

Positioned below the tapering bonnet, the front fascia of the Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ gets a horizontal grille and rectangular headlamps with a black plastic surround.

The overall cabin of the Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ has an all-black finish, which looks basic and built-to-cost, but showcases its practicality with a decent amount of storage spaces and accessible controls. The driver cockpit of the Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ comprises a large LCD screen in the middle of the instrument console. The busy-looking centre console of the Tata 407 Gold 33 WB RJ gets a 1-DIN audio system with an array of switches around it.&nbsp;
