  The Tata 407 Gold SFC is powered by a tried and tested 4SPCR 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which has been the mainstay of the 407 range for a long time now. Here in the 407 Gold SFC, this engine is paired to a G400 5-speed manual gearbox and produces a maximum power output of 100 PS and a peak torque output of 300 Nm. The engine also comes equipped with a 280mm diameter single plate dry friction type clutch.
