  Powering the Mahindra Furio 7 Cargo is a 2.5-litre four-cylinder mDI tech diesel engine, which has been coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox. While the maximum power output of this diesel engine is rated at 82.3 PS, the peak torque output of this engine is 220 Nm.

While the upper half of the Mahindra Furio 7 Cargo is covered by the larger windshield with curved edges, it is the lower half of the truck which makes it look aggressive. The lower part of the front fascia of the Mahindra Furio 7 Cargo comes with a grille having vertically-designed air vents on the corners and a traditional toothed grille with chrome slats within it and angular headlamps on the sides of the grille.
