The Bolero Camper Gold ZX is one of the 46 different models from the house of Mahindra. The Bolero Camper Gold ZX has 75 Horse Power and the Fuel Tank Capacity is 57 litre. Some of the main rivals include the Tata Intra V30 and Tata Intra V20 Bi-Fuel.
The Mahindra Bolero Camper comes with a tried-and-tested 2.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine under its hood, which has been serving as the heart of the Bolero Camper for many years. The engine got updated to BS6 emission norms in 2020, and now makes a maximum power output of 75 bhp and a peak torque output of 200 Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is the standard transmission for the Bolero Camper.
The 2.5-litre diesel engine has served in the Mahindra Bolero Camper for years now and continues to be a reliable and tractable engine for miles.
In the basic 2WD and 4WD variants of the Mahindra Bolero Camper, the suspension combination used is a rigid axle with leaf springs at both ends. However, the more premium Bolero Camper Gold variant gets hydraulic coil springs at the front, which serves a better ride quality. All the variants of the Mahindra Bolero Camper come equipped with hydraulic power steering and 15-inch steel wheels with 235/75 R15 tubeless radial tyres.
The hydraulic coil springs of Bolero Camper Gold offer added plushness, though the front and rear leaf spring setup in other variants prove to be rock solid over broken roads.
The Mahindra Bolero Camper has a double cab body style, which makes its loading bay comparatively smaller than many other single cab trucks sold in its category. The Bolero Camper measures 4859mm long, 1670mm wide and 1855mm tall, with it having a wheelbase of 3014mm and a ground clearance of 180mm. It claims payloads of 1000 kg in the Gold variant, 1035 kg in the 2WD variant and 940 kg in the 4WD variant.
If you want the best loading capacity, the basic 2WD variant of the Mahindra Bolero Camper is the one to go for.
While the 2WD and 4WD variants of the Mahindra Bolero Camper look and feel very basic on the inside, the Gold version feels slightly more upmarket with faux leather seats, manual air conditioner and a unique horizontally-laid fully-digital instrument console lifted from the Bolero’s passenger version. However, it misses out on a music system, though you can fit one aftermarket unit in it.
The fully-digital instrument console and air conditioner in the Gold variant make it the worthiest variant in the Bolero Camper's lineup.
The overall design of the Mahindra Bolero Camper looks very similar to the pre-facelift Bolero, which despite its age, still possesses a macho persona, especially at the front. The Bolero Camper has angular headlamps, which along with the blacked-out grille and chrome embellishment in the middle, give a bold face to the commercial vehicle. The squared-out door panels and angular fenders further make it look purposeful, with the added graphics in the Gold variant adding a touch of sportiness.
The front face of the Mahindra Bolero Camper looks bold with the angular headlamps and blacked-out grille with vertical slats.
The cabin of the Mahindra Bolero Camper has an all-grey layout in the 2WD and 4WD variants, and beige-coloured in the Gold variant. The Gold variant has an added touch of finesse with faux-wood inlays for the centre console and AC vents. Even the steering wheel here has a silver garnish in its lower spoke. The cabin of the Bolero Camper is capable of seating five passengers with enough amount of space in both the rows.
The beige upholstery in the Bolero Camper Gold, along with faux wood inlays, make its cabin feel a bit premium over the 2WD and 4WD variants.
A rough and tough truck. Very bold looks. It has a powerful engine and four tyres. The fuel capacity is fair enough.
Good for use for both commercial and personal activities but high service cost.
This truck is best for transportation purpose from my point of view as it has very spacious cabin and pickup is also good..
Good to use for both business and personal activities, but high service costs.
Camper is designed so well,it can be used for personal and commercial use. It is the best option in this segment with an affordable price range.
