The Ashok Leyland Dost Lite is essentially the first-generation Dost, which has been rebranded as Dost Lite after the arrival of newer iterations. The Ashok Leyland Dost Lite has a protruding out design for its front fascia, which is adorned with two large headlamps on the corners. There is a wide U-shaped housing in the middle of the headlamps, which come with two horizontal slats across it. The headlamps here have L-shaped turn indicators on the outer boundaries. Available in three variants &ndash; LE, LS and LX, the Ashok Leyland Dost Lite is offered in two colour options White and Irish Cream.&nbsp;

The Ashok Leyland Dost Lite has the most basic-looking cabin in the entire Dost range of small commercial vehicles but looks pleasant with its dual-tone beige and grey finish for the cabin. The Dost Lite welcomes one with its two-spoke steering wheel and a three-part instrument console behind it. While the upper layer of the dashboard is finished in grey and houses a music system, the lower layer is finished in beige and gets controls for air conditioning in the centre console. There are a few small storage spaces in the cabin which make it decently practical.
