India now is moving at a much faster rate toward electric transport than it was even just a few years ago. The three-wheeler segment is also seeing this shift. Two new electric rickshaws now stand out in their segments — the Bajaj GoGo and the TVS King EV Max. Both are built for the city and around the rural roads. Both try aiming at reducing fuel expenses and improving daily earnings. But which one really fits your needs better? Let’s break it down.
Range is by far one of the most important factors while choosing a vehicle in tgis sector for every driver. Here, Bajaj GoGo emerges as the superior. It gives up to 251 km on a single charge, depending on the variant. That helps drivers run longer routes without stopping to charge often.
The TVS King EV Max offers 179 km of certified range. It's lower than that of the Bajaj’s, but still enough for daily city trips. For drivers with shorter routes or fixed shifts, it should be enough.
Having the support of fast charging for a vehicle in this segment could be a great deal for some people, who intend on working long hours without charging being a worry. TVS King EV Max charges from 0–80% in just 2 hours and 15 minutes and a full charge takes about 3.5 hours.
Bajaj GoGo is a bit slower than the TVS in the charging department— taking about 5.5 hours to charge fully. That may suit night charging, but not fast turnarounds during the day.
The TVS King EV Max comes packed with an 11 kW motor that delivers 40 Nm of torque. It maxes out at a speed of 60 km/h which makes it good for mixed traffic as well as faster roads.
The Bajaj GoGo has a 5.5 kW motor with 36 Nm of torque. Its top speed is set to 50 km/h. It also uses a two-speed automated transmission, which helps on slopes and improves efficiency further.
TVS King EV Max comes with the company’s connected tech, the SmartXonnect system. It offers features like route tracking, alerts and vehicle diagnostics. It also has drive modes like Eco, City, and Power. That helps drivers adjust speed and save battery.
Bajaj GoGo packs safety-first features. It has hill hold assist, auto roll detection, and auto hazard lights. The body is constructed fully out of metal which further enhances its strength. You can also add an optional TecPac for extras like remote lock, GPS, and reverse assist.
TVS King EV Max is priced around ₹2.95 lakh ex-showroom. It’s affordable and comes ready to work.
Bajaj GoGo is priced quite a bit higher. The top model, P7012, costs about ₹3.83 lakh but that does offer more range and safety tech.
On the warranty front, TVS gives a 6-year or 1.5 lakh km coverage, whichever comes first. It also offers roadside assistance for three years.
Bajaj offers a 5-year battery warranty. Its large service network also helps with easy maintenance.
If you need long range, better safety, and plan to drive longer hours daily, you probably should go with the Bajaj GoGo.
Pick TVS King EV Max if you want faster charging, higher speed, and lower upfront cost.
Both rickshaws are good products and offer good value for money. Bajaj GoGo is made for high-mileage users. TVS King EV Max suits short city trips and quick turnarounds. Your choice should depend on your route, charging access, and budget. India’s electric rickshaw market is growing. These two brands lead the change. If you drive smart, you earn more — and save more.
