Thukral Electric EC-2 Open Cargo Detailed Overview
The Thukral EC-2 Open Cargo is powered by a 7 kWh PMSM motor, generating 56 Nm torque for smooth acceleration. It offers a top speed of 45 km/h and a range of 150 km per charge, making it suitable for urban logistics. The 15.16 kWh lithium-ion battery ensures efficient power delivery but requires 4.5-6 hours for a full charge. While it provides stable performance, heavy loads may slightly affect efficiency.

With a length of 3300 mm, width of 1475 mm, and height of 1700 mm, the EC-2 is compact yet spacious. The cargo deck measures 6 ft × 4.75 ft, allowing for easy loading of goods. A payload capacity of 700 kg makes it ideal for light to medium cargo transport. Its 240 mm ground clearance ensures smooth movement over uneven roads. However, it may not be suitable for extremely heavy loads.

The EC-2 features hydraulic shock absorbers with helical springs at the front and leaf springs at the rear, ensuring a stable ride. The hydraulic braking system provides effective stopping power, improving safety. While the suspension absorbs minor shocks well, extremely rough terrains may still affect ride comfort. The braking system is reliable but lacks advanced features like ABS.

The interior is functional, featuring a simple driver’s seat, digital instrument cluster, and storage space. While practical, it lacks premium features. The exterior is durable, with a robust steel frame and a well-structured cargo deck. The LED headlights and taillights improve visibility, but the design remains basic, focusing on functionality rather than aesthetics.
