Piaggio Ape City Plus Detailed Overview
The Piaggio Ape City is available in a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 230cc engine, which is available in both CNG and LPG versions. The engine claims 8.85 bhp of power and 14.8 Nm of torque in the CNG mode, while in the LPG mode, the engine produces slightly better performance figures – 9.52 bhp of power and 17.65 Nm of torque. A 4-speed constant mesh manual gearbox is offered as standard in both versions.

The brakes employed in the Piaggio Ape City are hydraulically-actuated drum brakes at both front and rear.

The lower half of the front profile of the Piaggio Ape City has a dumbbell-shaped panel in its upper part, with rounded headlamps and turn indicators integrated on the bulging sides and the Piaggio logo sitting within a small trapezoidal housing in the middle. The Piaggio Ape City is available with a removable soft top and body-coloured hinged side doors, with the rickshaw having a flat perch having a seating capacity of three people.
