The Mahindra e-Alfa Cargo is based on the e-Alfa Mini, which the former comes with a deck capable of carrying loads, unlike the latter which has opposite-facing seats for seating four passengers. The e-Alfa Cargo is powered by a brushless DC 1000W motor, which produces 1.56 kW of power and 3.2 Nm of torque. It also comes with a 48W, 120A lithium-ion battery, which offers a range of 85 km. It rides on 4.5x10-8PR front and 90/90-12 rear tyres. It is available in five different colour options for the single variant in which it is being offered.

These figures might seem uninspiring at first, but for an e-rickshaw of its size and price, they are decent, thus making the Mahindra e-Alfa Cargo a decent load haulier for urban conditions. Offered in a single variant, the five colour options available in the Mahindra e-Alfa Cargo are red, blue, yellow, white and green. The front profile of the Mahindra e-Alfa Cargo is shared with its passenger version, with the apron having rounded headlamps and turn indicators integrated into blacked housings with curved inner edges. The fender over the front wheel has a blacked-out finish, and above the front fender, there is a black garnish housing a Mahindra logo in the middle. The passenger cabin and opposite-facing seats of the e-Alfa Mini have been replaced here by a flat deck, which is decently big to carry 310 kg of load.

The Mahindra e-Alfa Cargo features rounded headlamps with turn indicators in rounded trapezoidal housing and a blacked-out fender over the front wheel.

The basic equipment list of the Mahindra e-Alfa Cargo comprises a compact instrument console having an analogue speedometer and odometer, halogen headlamps and tube-type tyres as standard.
