From the looks, the Tata 710 SFC is nothing but the good-old Tata 407 in its previous-generation avatar, which in all these years has become an iconic design. The tapering-down front bonnet of the Tata 710 SFC is its highlight. Ending up with a vertically-aligned front grille, the Tata 710 SFC has a slightly revised front fascia compared to the 407 range, with a slightly rounded central grille, with rectangular headlamps and turn indicators on the sides.&nbsp;

With a tapering-down bonnet and a vertical front grille, the Tata 710 SFC has its headlamps positioned on either side of the front grille.

The functional-looking all-black cabin of the Tata 710 SFC has a busy layout for the centre console. The two-spoke steering wheel and a large instrument console with a large LCD screen in the middle form a combination for the driver&rsquo;s cockpit. The centre console of the dashboard of the 710 SFC looks boxy, with it having a music system interface and a panel of switches placed to its side.&nbsp;

The cabin of the Tata 710 SFC has a rectangular influence on the design of the dashboard, which is evident in the layout of the music system, AC vents and centre console. 

While the Tata 710 SFC is one of the most basic and old-looking trucks, it still manages to come with modern elements like a 1-DIN audio system, AC vents, USB fast chargers and power steering.&nbsp;

Features like a USB fast charger and 1-DIN audio system make the cabin of the Tata 710 SFC stand to the new times.

The Tata 710 SFC gets the same engine which has been powering the Tata 407 range all these years &ndash; a tried and tested 4SPCR 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. Here too, this engine is coupled to a G400 5-speed manual gearbox and pumps out a maximum power output of 100 PS, while the peak torque output is rated at 300 Nm. Apart from the engine, even the 280mm diameter single plate dry friction type clutch is shared with the Tata 407 Gold SFC.&nbsp;

Paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the tried and tested 3.0-litre diesel engine of the Tata 710 SFC is capable of producing a power output of 100 PS and a torque output of 300 Nm.

The suspension unit of the Tata 710 SFC is a combination of parabolic springs with rubber bush, 2 no hydraulic double-acting shock absorbers at the front and semi-elliptical leaf spring, 2 no hydraulic double-acting shock absorbers at the rear. Riding on four 7.00 R16LT tyres, the Tata 710 SFC gets power steering as standard, while it has air brakes with an auto slack adjustor.&nbsp;

The Tata 710 SFC gets 7.00 R16LT tyres with leaf springs and double-acting shock absorbers at both front and rear. 

The Tata 710 SFC can be had in one of the three iterations on offer &ndash; CBC, FSD and HDLC. The HDLB and FSD versions get the same length of 6105mm and the same width of 2255mm, with the CBC getting a length of 6079mm and a width of 2086mm. However, the CBC and FSD versions have the same height of 2290mm, against the 2850mm height of the HDLB version. All three versions of the Tata 710 SFC have a wheelbase of 3800mm, a minimum turning radius of 7.5m, a ground clearance of 213mm, a gross weight of 7490 kg and a payload capacity of around 3000 kg.&nbsp;
