The BharatBenz 1415R is a new-age medium-duty commercial truck, which has a modern exterior design and a nicely laid-out black and brown cabin on the inside. It comes powered by a 4.4-litre diesel engine, which can produce a maximum power output of 150 PS and a maximum torque output of 460 Nm while being paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.&nbsp;

The BharatBenz 1415R comes standard with a 4.4-litre 4D34i diesel engine, the maximum power and maximum torque outputs of which are rated at 150 PS and 460 Nm respectively. The transmission unit on duty is a 6-speed G85 manual gearbox, which also comes integrated with a 362mm single-plate dry clutch which is hydraulically actuated.&nbsp;

With a frame section measuring 230mm in length, 80mm in width and 7mm in height, the BharatBenz 1415R features a multi-leaf spring suspension setup at both front and rear. The suspension unit of this truck also comes with anti-roll bars at both the front and rear. For the brakes, the BharatBenz 1415R comes equipped with a pneumatic, foot-operated, dual-line service brake with ABS as well as a spring-actuated parking brake with a hand brake valve cab. Both the front and rear axles of the BharatBenz 1415R come fitted with 360mm drum brakes for the stoppage, while the truck rolls on 8.25R20 tyres all around.&nbsp;

The BharatBenz 1415R is being offered in the Indian commercial vehicle market in five wheelbase versions &ndash; 3360mm, 3760mm, 4250mm, 4800mm and 5050mm. All of these versions of the BharatBenz 1415R get different lengths between 6380mm to 9295mm but have the same width of 2135mm and the same height of 2480mm. While the BharatBenz 1415R has a gross vehicle weight of 14050 kg, the payload capacity of the truck is not disclosed.

Available in five-wheelbase versions, the maximum gross vehicle weight of the BharatBenz 1415R is 14050 kg, while the payload capacity is not yet known. 

The BharatBenz 1415R has a quite conventional design, with most of the front profile being covered by basic-looking black plastic. The front windscreen has a curved horizontal black plastic housing just below it. Also, the partitioned trapezoidal headlamps, which get clear lens turn indicators above them, and the grille in the middle, have all-black plastic surrounds, which cover the entire lower end of the front profile. Also, the front bumper is an all-black affair with rounded fog lamps integrated into its corners.&nbsp;

Much of the front profile of the BharatBenz 1415R is covered in black plastic, with the headlamps and grille having black plastic surrounds. 

Apart from the decently good-looking exterior, the BharatBenz 1415R also has a nicely executed dual-tone black and brown interior theme, with the upper half of the dashboard getting an all-black theme and the lower one getting a brown theme. The driver&rsquo;s cockpit looks good with the large four-spoke steering wheel and the comprehensive instrument console. The centre console has a squared design, which gets controls the audio system and manual AC. There are a few open storage spaces above the closed glovebox on the co-passenger side and below the centre console.

The overall interior of the BharatBenz 1415R has a feel-good factor to it, thanks to the nice-looking dual-tone black and brown theme for the cabin. 

The BharatBenz 1415R has a decent amount of equipment on offer, with features like an audio system, manual AC, tilt-adjustable power steering and a few storage spaces all around.&nbsp;
