The BharatBenz 1217C is a new-age medium-duty commercial truck, which is powered by a 3.7-litre diesel engine. With a maximum power output of 170 PS and a maximum torque output of 520 Nm, this new-generation engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The dual-tone black and brown interior of the BharatBenz 1217C makes the cabin look premium.

The engine powering the BharatBenz 1217C is a 3.9-litre 4D34i series four-cylinder diesel engine, which is paired with a 6-speed G85 manual gearbox as standard. While the maximum power output of this engine is rated at 170 PS, the maximum torque of this engine is 520 Nm. The transmission unit of the BharatBenz 1217C comes equipped with a 362mm hydraulically-actuated single-plate dry clutch.

The four-cylinder 3.9-litre diesel engine of the BharatBenz 1217C is capable of producing 170 PS of power and 520 Nm of torque while being mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The BharatBenz 1217C is available in a single CBC variant, which measures 5435mm long, 2135mm wide and 2420mm tall, while having a wheelbase of 3160mm. The BharatBenz 1217C also has a front overhang measuring 1275mm and a rear overhang measuring 1000mm, along with a ground clearance of 245mm. The gross vehicle weight of the BharatBenz 1217C is 13000 kg, though the payload capacity of the truck is not disclosed by BharatBenz.

The front profile of the conventional design of the BharatBenz 1217C has a basic-looking black plastic panel in its lower half, where the truck gets partitioned trapezoidal headlamps with clear lens turn indicators above them. Between the headlamps, the front grille also has all-black plastic surrounds, covering the entire lower end at the front. The front bumper also has an all-black theme, which comes integrated with rounded fog lamps in its corners.&nbsp;

The centre console of the dashboard of the BharatBenz 1217C features a squared design, comprising of the audio system and manual AC.&nbsp;

The dual-tone black and brown interior theme of the BharatBenz 1217C is rarely seen in a commercial vehicle of its size. 

Apart from an audio system, manual AC and tilt-adjustable power steering, the BharatBenz 1217C also gets a few storage spaces like the closed glovebox and open storage spaces.
