The Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus is the long-wheelbase version of the Ape Xtra LDX, which was introduced for a better payload capacity. This three-wheeler is being offered with three engine options &ndash; a diesel, a CNG and a petrol. The Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX claims a payload capacity of 492 kg while having a length of 3295mm.

There are three single-cylinder engine options with which the Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus is being offered in India. First is the 597.7cc diesel engine, which delivers 9.4 bhp of power and 23.5 Nm of torque. Then comes the 230cc CNG-powered petrol engine, which claims 9.6 bhp of power and 16.5 Nm of torque. The Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus is also offered with a 305.2cc pure-petrol engine, which churns out 11.9 bhp of power and 24 Nm of torque.

There are three engine options in the range of Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus â€“ a 597.7cc 9.4 bhp diesel engine, a 230cc 9.6 bhp CNG-powered engine and a 305.2cc 11.9 bhp petrol engine. 

The suspension setup of the Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus comprises a hydraulic telescopic shock absorber with a helical spring and a dampener at the front wheel. For the rear wheels, the Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus gets hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers with rubber springs and a dampener at the rear. The Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus also comes with hydraulically-actuated drum brakes and 4.50-10 tyres for all three wheels on offer.

All three wheels of the Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus come equipped with a 4.50-10 tyre, hydraulic telescopic shock absorber and a drum brake.

The Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus measures 3295mm long, 1490mm wide and 1770mm tall, thus making it a longer three-wheeler compared to the Ape Xtra LDX on which it is based. The deck lid of the Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus measures 1800mm long, 1400mm wide and 285mm tall. While the gross vehicle weight of the Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus is 975 kg, its payload capacity is 492 kg. The Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus also has a wheelbase of 2100mm and a ground clearance of 245mm.

The Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus has a length of 3295mm, a width of 1490mm, a height of 1770mm, a wheelbase of 2100mm, a ground clearance of 245mm and a maximum payload capacity of 492 kg. 

The Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus is an evolution of the previous-generation Piaggio Ape and is based on the shorter Ape Xtra LDX sporting a fresher-looking front design. The lower front profile of the Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus has a pair of rounded halogen headlamps, which are characterised by wing-like amber turn indicators on its sides. These lights are housed within stylish-looking black-coloured housings. The upper and lower halves of the front profile are divided by a black strip, while the front fender here is also finished in black plastic.&nbsp;

The design of the Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus is shared with the short-wheelbase Ape Xtra LDX, with stylish-looking halogen headlamps with black surrounds. 

The list of features in the Piaggio Ape Xtra LDX Plus is shared with the short-wheelbase Ape Xtra LDX, which consists of halogen headlamps and tail lamps, a rounded instrument console in the middle of its handlebar, a cushioned backrest behind the seat and a sliding window at the back.
