The Piaggio Ape E Xtra comes with a suspension combination comprising a helical spring with a dampener at the front and a rubber spring with a dampener at the rear. Piaggio has equipped the Ape E Xtra with hydraulically-actuated drum brakes on the front wheel and rear wheels.

The Piaggio Ape E Xtra has a length of 3315mm, a width of 1490mm and a height of 1770mm while having a wheelbase of 2100mm. Also, its cargo box measures 1830mm long, 1400mm wide and 285mm tall. The overall ground clearance of Piaggio Ape E Xtra stands at 220mm.
With a ground clearance of 220mm and a wheelbase of 2100mm, the Piaggio Ape E Xtra measures 3315mm long, 1490mm wide and 1770mm tall.
The Piaggio Ape E Xtra is the most modern-looking form of the very popular Ape three-wheeler rickshaw, which matches with the futuristic powertrain of it. The upper half of the Piaggio Ape E Xtra is covered entirely with a tapered windscreen at the front.
The lower half of the Piaggio Ape E Xtra looks fresh with black plastic surrounds for the rounded halogen headlamps. These housings are shaped like wings and also accommodate amber turn indicators. In between the headlamp housings, there is a silver T-shaped garnish, which houses the Piaggio logo. It also gets a black plastic contoured fender over the front wheel.
The Piaggio Ape E Xtra comes with lockable door panels on the sides, which are adorned with body graphics and come with slidable window panels in them. At the back, the Ape E Xtra comes with a flatbed with black plastic wheel arches over the rear wheels.
The Piaggio Ape E Xtra has a fresh-looking front design, which gets wing-shaped black surrounds for the headlamps and turn indicators, apart from the well-contoured front wheel fender.
While the exterior design of the Piaggio Ape E Xtra looks fresher than the previous-generation Ape three-wheeler, the interior feels basic with only essential features like a decently informative instrument console. The Ape E Xtra also comes with front body-mounted rear-view mirrors.
