GreenLine Mobility and Shriram Finance Limited partner to deploy LNG trucks

GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd., an Essar initiative, has partnered with Shriram Finance Limited to deploy over 10,000 LNG and electric trucks across India. This collaboration aims to establish a nationwide network of refueling and charging stations, targeting a reduction of up to 1 million tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

The LNG-powered trucks, manufactured by Blue Energy Motors, are central to this initiative. Anand Mimani, CEO of GreenLine Mobility, emphasized that this fleet expansion is pivotal in decarbonizing India's logistics sector and aligns with the company's vision for sustainable, high-performance transportation solutions.

G. M. Jilani, Joint Managing Director of Shriram Finance, highlighted that this partnership marks the company's first investment in cleaner fuel technology.
