EKA Mobility, a leading company making commercial electric vehicles in India, displayed four electric vehicles at the International Electric Convention & Green Mobility 2025 in New Delhi from September 15-19. EKA Mobility showed more vehicles than any other manufacturer at the event.

Commercial Vehicles on display are designed for different purposes:

  • EKA 55T Truck: A heavy-duty truck that can carry 43,000 kg and travel up to 200 km on a single charge.
  • EKA 12M Bus: A twelve meter long bus with over 250 km distance range, safety features for a comfortable ride.
  • EKA 3W Cargo: A small three wheeler for goods transport with a range of 200 km and 750 kg carrying capacity, good for city deliveries.
  • EKA 6S Passenger 3 Wheeler: A seven seater vehicle with a steering wheel for easy driving.

EKA Mobility has already received over 3,300 confirmed orders in India and South Africa. This includes 2,000 electric buses under the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme (A government plan to promote electric public transport). The company works with the motto “Sustainability with Profitability.”

The company also introduced EKA Connect, an AI-based system for managing vehicle fleets. It helps operators track their vehicles, predict maintenance needs, and save costs, making it easier to run electric vehicles.

EKA Mobility, officially called Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd., works with international partners like Mitsui Co., Ltd. (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands). All vehicles are made in India, supporting the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.

Dr. Sudhir Mehta, founder and chairman of EKA Mobility, said, “We want clean and electric mobility to be profitable and easy to use for businesses.” The company employs more than 500 people in research and development, with many women in the team.

The International Electric Convention & Green Mobility 2025 is an important platform where companies show new electric vehicle technologies. EKA’s participation shows that Indian companies are growing in the commercial electric vehicle sector, offering trucks, buses, and three-wheelers for goods and passenger transport.
