• Engine and Performance

  The Tata LPT 4825 retains its 6.7-litre Cummins ISBe engine from the engine lineup of Cummins, which is coupled to an in-house developed 9-speed manual gearbox. This engine produces a maximum power output of 250 bhp, while the peak torque output of 950 Nm. The engine is also paired to a 430mm diameter push-type single plate dry friction clutch plate.

  The Tata LPT 4825 has a 6.7-litre 250 bhp diesel engine retained from the engine lineup of Cummins.

• Suspension and Brakes

  The Tata LPT 4825 is armed with a suspension combination of parabolic leaf springs with hydraulic double-acting telescopic shock absorbers at the front and semi-elliptical leaf springs at the rear. Riding on 295/90 R20 tyres, the Tata LPT 4825 has a heavy-duty axle setup, comprising of a heavy-duty 7T reverse Elliot type axle at the front and a single reduction RA110HD type axle at the rear.

With a soft cloth cover all around, the Tata LPT 4825’s driver-only cabin can be expanded with extra bodywork on demand. The lower half of the front profile of the Tata LPT 4825 has a tapering down look, with the entire apron covered by a grey-themed front grille. This grille has horizontal slats segmented in three different columns. The front bumper, which is a blacked-out metal unit, comes integrated with rectangular headlamps on the corners.

  Summary

  The Tata LPT 4825 doesn't come standard with complete bodywork, with only the driver’s cabin having a soft top and the grille having an all-grey theme.
