  The only powertrain with which the Force Shaktiman 400 is offered in the market right now is a Mercedes-sourced 2.6-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which powers a few other offerings from Force Motors. This engine is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and produces 90 bhp of maximum power and 250 Nm of maximum torque.

  The suspension combination of the rugged-looking Force Shaktiman 400 includes a semi-elliptical leaf spring with hydraulic shock absorbers at both ends, with the front setup also getting an anti-roll bar in addition. While the Force Shaktiman 400 is offered with mechanical steering as standard, the mini-truck can also be configured with hydraulic power steering as an optional add-on. The tapered front bonnet ends up at a vertically-aligned front grille, which has two horizontal slats with the Force logo in the middle of them. The outer corners of this wide-looking front fascia have rounded headlamps with horizontal strips of turn indicators above them. The front bumper looks basic and simple with its all-black and no-frills design.

  The tapered bonnet and rounded headlamps of the Force Shaktiman 400 give it a familiar face, which we have been seeing in the Force Traveller people mover.

  The Force Shaktiman 400 looks very basic and outdated from the inside. While the cabin of the Shaktiman 400, which is retained from that of the Force Traveller, looks frills-free and old-school, the cabin is ergonomically well-designed with all the controls in the right places. The layouts for the instrument console, centre console, AC vents and co-passenger side of the dashboard look clean and uncluttered with flat design for all of them.
