  Both the Load and Load Plus variants of the Mahindra Alfa Plus are bestowed with a single-cylinder, water-cooled, 597.7cc diesel engine sourced from Greaves Cotton. Paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, this engine produces a maximum power output of 9.4 bhp and a peak torque output of 23.5 Nm. Mahindra claims a maximum fuel efficiency of 29.4 kmpl for the Alfa Plus.

The Alfa Plus gets a pair of rounded headlamps on either side, which are encased in a blacked-out housing along with large clear lens turn indicators on the outer corners. The cabin of the Alfa Plus looks basic with a handlebar for steering the vehicle.
