Fleet Handed Over at Chakan Facility

Blue Energy Motors delivered a fresh fleet of LNG-powered trucks to Inland World Logistics. The handover took place at the company’s Chakan plant in Pune. With this step, Inland World Logistics has joined the growing list of freight carriers shifting to cleaner fuels.

Lower Emissions, Same Strength

The LNG trucks use liquefied natural gas instead of diesel. As a result, they emit up to 30% less carbon dioxide. Yet, they maintain the same payload and power. These commercial vehicles also help operators cut running costs over time without sacrificing performance.

Stronger Push in Green Transport

With this new delivery, Blue Energy Motors continues expanding in India’s alternative fuel sector. The company now has over 800 LNG trucks on Indian roads. These trucks have already covered 50 million kilometers. Together, they’ve helped reduce around 14,000 tons of CO₂, roughly what 560,000 trees absorb in a year.

Executives Emphasize Cleaner Growth

Anirudh Bhuwalka, CEO of Blue Energy Motors, said the company is enabling clean mobility at scale. By offering fleet-wide solutions and expanding regionally, it aims to drive change faster. Praveen Somani, MD of Inland World Logistics, added that LNG lets them cut emissions without affecting logistics efficiency.

Building for the Long Haul

Founded in 2020 and based in Chakan, Blue Energy Motors builds zero-emission, heavy-duty trucks. The Chakan facility, operational since September 2022, can produce 10,000 trucks each year. Alongside vehicle production, the company is also expanding India’s LNG fuel network. It is working with partners to set up more refueling stations and boost LNG adoption in long-distance trucking.

Conclusion: Integrated Model for a Cleaner Future

Blue Energy Motors doesn’t just build commercial trucks. It supports them with infrastructure and service. This integrated approach makes it easier for fleets to switch to cleaner fuels. As India pushes for greener freight, such efforts are critical to scaling low-emission logistics quickly and sustainably.
